Color: Pink background with thin black and red trim, street is gray with black lines, hearts and font reading: BETTY BOOP is red, numbers on clock face are black, and neon when illuminated is pink. approx. 10" wide by 14" tall there are small holes in each corner for nails/screws and easy mounting. "AA" Battery required for quartz clock is NOT included. A BRIEF HISTORY OF NEON: Neon arrived in America in the early 1920s after being invented in France. The appeal was instantaneous and it gave new meaning to the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words". Neon was considered "high class" and adorned the Big Corporation signs and logos of the 1930s. By the 1950s neon had transformed the American roadside into a magical, luminous wonderland.
