Giant Inflatable Balloons, Strolling Tables, and Fancy Donuts at BizBash 2018

Generations Store featured at this year’s BizBash Live in New York City. We had a booth showing off 3 of our most popular products; inflatable mirror balls, giant balloons, and our string curtains. It was great to interact with fellow exhibitors and attendees, and check out the other products and services that are being offered in the special event space.
The main focus of our booth was to give a potential client an up close and personal look at our giant balloons and inflatable mirror balls. We had a 9 foot (in diameter) sample of our giant inflatable balloon, fully inflated with helium. We also stacked a 4 and 6 foot sample of the purple and gold inflatable mirror balls. We felt having physical product in front of a potential client would shed light on the physical practicality of using these items to decorate their next special event. In conversation with attendees, it was great seeing where their creative minds wandered when they saw our products.
The two stacked balls gave off a Christmas vibe by looking like two Christmas tree ornaments on top of each other. The idea was well received by BizBash Live attendees. At New York Comic Con earlier this month we saw SYFY do a similar idea but with the giant inflatable balloons. They were used as an entryway to to their branded Fan Lounge. They stacked 3 off-centered, multi-sized balloons. We’ve also seen the giant inflatable balls
We also displayed the variety of string curtains that we have available. While it may look like the giant balloons overwhelmed our string curtain display, the string curtains commanded a good amount of attention from folks attending BizBash Live. People who plan events for colleges, churches, casinos, and more were able to stop by and look at how we can help make their events better. Showing them previous example on how they’ve been used as backdrops, space dividers, and wall hanging opened their eyes to further opportunities.
BizBash Live host’s various other products and services in the special events space. From specialty desserts, to AV production, to human tables, BizBash brings together an eclectic mix of people from different industries. As a foodie, it was great seeing Brooklyn based Du’s Donuts. The specialty donut shop run by chef & owner Wylie Dufresne specialize in New England style cake donuts. They had on display different examples of how their donuts can be used as centerpieces, fun alternative to a traditional wedding cake, and inviting deserts.
We’ve noticed a pattern when it comes to how our customers use the giant inflatable balloons and out mirror balls. We commonly see them be used near the entrance of whatever event they are hosting. They work great at commanding attention to a doorway or pathway. When incorporated with the overall theme of the party, the giant balloons serve as a greeting to your event attendees. Athena Entertainment was at BizBash and they brought different kind of special event greeters. Athena Entertainment specialize in cutting edge, professional performers. At BizBash this year they had aerial bartenders and human flowers greeting attendees, strolling tables (shown above) passing out candy and more information on Athena Entertainment, LED robots roaming around the showroom floor, and more.
